LEROYAbstract - The principle of the new feeding technique under consideration is, on the one hand, to give the animal food richer in quantity but smaller in quantity until the desired equilibrium has been attained, and, on the other hand, to administer a second feeding-stuff replying exactly to the requirements of milking-cows in proportion to the amount of milk produced over and above the previously balanced level.
